Banana Cat — 3-Room Demo

Banana Cat – 3-Room Demo is a browser shooter by JaniceTheOne in which you play a cat dressed as a banana. Each room is an arena full of breakable objects and hostile cats: smash every target object, defeat the enemies the room requires, and move on. The demo covers the first three rooms of a planned 30-room campaign with 12 weapons, and it runs on both desktop and touch screens.

On a computer you move with WASD or the arrow keys, aim with the mouse and fire by holding the left mouse button over the battlefield. Number keys 1–6 switch weapons (you can also pick them from the weapon menu) and Esc pauses. On a phone or tablet the left joystick moves your cat, holding the right fire button shoots with aim assist, and tapping the battlefield aims directly.

A room is cleared when every target object is broken and all required enemies are down – on-screen counters show how many of each are left. Furniture that can't be destroyed is not a target; it is cover. Breaking objects is also how you get stronger: destruction raises your firepower and unlocks new weapons, so clearing props early pays off when the enemy cats arrive.

Use the fixed furniture to break line of sight instead of trading shots in the open. Clear nearby breakables first to power up before pushing into groups of enemies. Check the counters before leaving an area so you don't have to backtrack for one missed object. If a weapon feels weak against a group, open the weapon menu and compare what you've unlocked.

The developer lists the project as made with AI assistance for development, graphics and writing. The demo is in English and its save is kept separate from the developer's full website version, so progress doesn't carry over between the two.
