Newest idle clicker games

Idle clicker games start with a single click and grow into a machine that keeps running while you watch – or while you are away. This page lists the idle, clicker and incremental games we have added to JoltArcade, newest first. They are new browser releases from independent developers on itch.io, so you will find unusual twists here instead of the same big titles every portal repeats: idle auto-battlers, garage and orchard tycoons, breakout-style incrementals and short experimental clickers. Every game page explains what the game is, how to play and where to play it free, and links back to the creator.

Idle, clicker and incremental: what is the difference?

A clicker game is built around the click: each tap earns a resource, and upgrades make every click worth more. An idle game keeps earning without you – generators, workers or heroes produce income over time, so progress continues in the background. Incremental games are the wider family both belong to: numbers grow, new systems unlock, and the game slowly reveals more of itself.

Most games here mix all three. You click to get started, buy your first automation, then plan upgrades while the counters climb. Many add a prestige or rebirth step: reset your progress in exchange for a permanent bonus that makes the next run faster.

How to get better at idle clicker games

Buy automation early. A generator that earns while you wait beats a slightly stronger click almost every time. Compare upgrades by how quickly they pay for themselves, not by their size. When a game offers a reset with a permanent bonus, take it once progress slows down – the second run is usually much faster.

Browser games usually save to your browser's local storage, so clearing site data or switching browsers can reset your progress. If a game offers an export or save code, use it.

Frequently asked questions

Are these idle clicker games free?

Yes. Every game listed here is free to play in your browser. Some creators accept optional donations on their itch.io page.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The games run in your browser on desktop, and many also work on phones and tablets. Each game page says which controls it uses.

How often are new idle games added?

New games are imported several times a day from fresh itch.io releases, and any new idle, clicker or incremental game appears on this page automatically.

Do idle games keep running when I close the tab?

It depends on the game. Many calculate offline progress when you come back; others only progress while the tab is open. The game page or the game's own start screen usually says which.
